So it's been over a year since I started my 1st hair care journey! I'm planning on starting my 2nd hair care journey but I'm thinking about vlogging it instead of blogging it.. hmmm? still undecided! But yes of course I went back to hairlista honestly ladies for those of you starting or re-doing your hair care journey I say you join the hairlista network its SO helpful (and no I am not affiliated with hairlista in anyway I personally recommend it!)

Its like 1AM and I'm SO tired to type some more I think I'm going to make a video tomorrow to take you back on my 1st journey and let ya'll know my hair regime and what I've been doing and what I will be doing...

Ok so heres the "mini HAUL" I've been meaning to do since FOREVER! LOL my bad!! I just bought a couple of nail polish, hair products and facial cream that I'd like to do a review about to give ya'll the heads up with the good and the bad!...

The nail polish I bought were by Sally Hansen: White out, Rockstar pink, Fuchsia power, Black out, Hot magenta and Gunmetal... Honestly I really LOVE all the colors they are REALLLLLLY REALLLLY CUTE!! The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to put more then 1 sometimes 2 coats. Especially for the white out I need to go over it like 3-4 times but other then that the finishing is pretty glossy except for "rockstar pink" (which is actually one of my FAVS!!) its so sparkly BUT its a hassle and ANNOYING TO REMOVE!! But when it chips its really easy to touchup without being so noticeable! LOL and its super duper cute on the toes!! <333

And as for the hair products The shampoo and conditioner I got was by "organix" I got coconut milk which helps restore and re-hydrate the hair and the other conditioner I got was citrus mango which helps it from frizzing I use this one mainly for my deep condition! But yes honestly I highly recommend that you try these products out!!! My hair really looks more healthy and ALIVE again because of this product not only is it natural, organic and made with proteins and oils its laureth sulfate FREE! So its safe to use EVERYDAY if yu have to especially 'cos its summer and you want to shower its not hurtful for yur hair for everyday use :) I also bought another bottle of John friedas frizz-ease hair serum if ya'll don't already know I SWEAR by this product it honestly does what it says it will do I LOVE THIS PRODUCT FOREVER !!! LOL

Last but not least I got the garnier facial cream I normally use nivea but I wanted to try something new. I've been using this now for some time now and its not bad it still kinda leaves the side of my nose dry but yeah I wouldn't mind buying this product again!...

and as for my mini update!
- I'd like to congratulate my cousin who just gave birth to a beautiful babygirl on July 15th! Shes mixed half Filipina and half Ecuadorian hehe shes so tiny and precious <333

and thats basically it! LOL nothing special its SUMMER so I'm trying to have as much fun as I can before school starts and finish up my school year! But after I'm done I do plan on going back again!! which is a total FML cos I hate school but I figured hay since I'm young I might as well go to school so when I'm older I have options! I love when I have many options to choose from :)

So this is how it looks! like I said on my previous post about "B!TCHSLAPPP!!: this already has 4 sets of foundations in it and personally I find it very very difficult to find a "true match" for my skin tone so I figured I can mix the colors to match me and also its very versatile as yu can also use it as a primer/base for eyeshadows, as a concealer and also as a contour and highlight! So YAY for me less things to carry in my makeup bag :) HAHAHA!!"

and I already did swatches and also I had to test it out! I LOVE IT LIKE I SERIOUSLY LOVE IT!! It's so creamy it does not look to cakey or feel thick it's like a thin layer of FULL COVERAGE! It also has a nice airbrush finish to it if you apply it correctly with the right tools! LOL and I am mos' def gonna continue buying more products from them no doubt about that!!! It also smells like cream too!! haha I love it!!

Ok so I'm VERY excited because I just ordered me some bitchslappp cosmetics (aka. BSC: http://www.bitchslap-cosmetics.com/) and I can't wait for them to get in! :)

I ordered the "DARK FOUNDATION WHEEL" (photo below)
I was browsing around youtube (I love youtube LOL) and came across this guru who was actually head of promotions for BSC - Nikkie (who I now have grown to LOVE shes so free spirited! I wanted to get this "Bitch Palette - Heartless Bitch" (photo above) but GRRR I'm so annoyed because unfortunately for ME its SOLD OUT :( I'm really loving the colors its so wearable for everyday since I'm really not a big fan of colors I'm AFRAID!! haha I love NUDES/EARTH TONE/NEUTRAL/NATURAL (get my drift..!? LOL) colors :) but I'm MOS DEF gonna get this once it restocks!! haha but now that I'm thinking about it I should have just gone with the "Bitch Palette - Washed Out Bitch" hmmm?!! haha (photo below)





The colors are pretty its so matte!! love it and the brown looks like a nice chocolate finish you could make a beautiful brown smokey sultry look! with it.. I was thinking Kim Kardashian inspired I love her makeup she always looks so FLAWLESS!!

Ok like I said I would make a look with my DIY quad pallet that I bought by Annabelle a couple weeks ago and for those who don't know what I'm talking about refer to my previous post (REVIEW: ANNABELLE COSMETICS & MAYBELLINES GEL LINER)... I know it took me awhile to do it but I've been so distracted lately but hey I did it :) hahaha. Ok so here is the look that I came up with and If I were to give this look a name I'd call it "SANDSTORM" 'cause of all the beautiful browns and gold this is such a nice bronzy look, LOVE IT!

As you can see for drug store products it looks really good and its true to its colors I love it! I'm most def. gonna go back and make more "DIY" pallet! But I'll try colors this time I'm normally scared to go all out with the colors I love neutral colors and earth tone colors haha basically anything thats brown/gold haha :)

BUT anyways gotta runnn I wanted to make a quick post before I head out to my God sons 4th birthday @ chuck-e-cheese haha :) and bringing my little 5 soon to be 6 :O year old brother along so he can have some fun aswell! anyways I'll post again soon I'm waiting on my stuff that I purchases off girlprops.com and once I get them in the mail I'll do a mini haul!! Ok I've been meaning to do this review last week but been a bit busy. I bought this "DIY" quad by Annabelle @ Shoppers drug mart sometime last week and for those of you who don't know about this it's when you buy 4 eye shadows of your choice and you get the eyeshadow holder for free. And I got (from L-R in the picture) Gold digger, Ka-Ching, So Foxy & Helium. And for drug store products Annabelle products are actually very very pigmented and I love it! Gold digger, Ka Ching and Helium are very shimmery and the only matte one I got was So Foxy but this color still stands out! I plan on doing a look and posting it so you guys can see. There's so much more other colors they have and I plan on buying another set of "DIY" quad! LOL and for those who do not have a Shoppers drug mart or Rexall around I'm pretty sure you can get this at ANY drug store! Or you can order online: http://www.annabellecosmetics.com/

And I also wanted to try maybellines eye studio 24hr gel liner in black. It actually does stay on for long and the color doesn't really fade out but if you wanted it to be VERY black and "dramatic" looking I don't suggest you use it for that purpose I guess unless you go over it a billion times to get that effect (like a liquid liner would) but I feel this is best for the day time use or if your looking for a more "natural" look! But anyways I still like it!! :) LOL

Yah surprisingly some ladies out their just do not know how to clean their brushes. It's like they just wipe it off with tissue and think "Okay it's clean now" NO! Woman theirs still bacteria build up all up in your bristles! LOL so now you have NO EXCUSES I'm gonna show you 2 different ways to clean your make up brushes and don't give me "oh it's time consuming" B/S! Youre putting all of that on your face so if you want to start itching and have bad skin in the end go right ahead but all that could have been prevented if you just CLEANED YUR BRUSHES!! It could be once a month, once a week, every day. I don't care Just do it! LOL but NO, Not once a year AT LEAST once a month MAX and once a week MIN! LOL

Ok so heres the first one which is good to do once a month:
all you'll need is;
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
- Sponge
- Dishwashing soap
- Paper towel

- Take the EVOO and put it onto a clean paper towel
- Swirl you're brush on the paper towel until you see that your bristles are cleaned
- Put some dish washing soap and put it on the sponge
- Wet the sponge and squeeze some of it out so its not too soapy
- Now swirl your brush on the soaped sponge until its very clean
- Okay now rinse it out with luke warm water (Make sure not to hold your brushes up because the water will pass the metal part and get on the wood part and that will rot and rust your brushes)
- Now wipe it off with another clean paper towel and lay it down flat because if you put it up it's still wet and the water will soak up the wood...

Ok so here is the second method which is good to do once a week:
trust me IT'S really simple!!

Take any makeup brush cleanser you have. And don't say you don't have one because on my last post I was teaching you how to make your own brush cleanser so check that out and start brush cleaning ^_^

So yeah again all you will need is;
- Brush cleanser
- and a paper towel

***

- Take your brush cleanser and spray/pour it onto the paper towel
- Swirl your brush on it until its clean
>> this part is OPTIONAL Put some dish washing soap and put it on the sponge, Wet the sponge and squeeze some of it out so its not too soapy, Now swirl your brush on the soaped sponge until its very cleaned <<
- Rinse it off with luke warm water
- And when you let it dry make sure its laying FLAT!!

and WALA now your brushes are cleaned and your GOOD TO GO!!
I don't know why but I love smelling it and putting it on my face after I clean it and its dry, its so much softer and it smells so good =) hahahaa lol =P

So as we all know we are in a rescission and seriously who really wants to pull out $20-$30 just for a small bottle of make up brush cleaner? When you can easily make one yourself (with items you can find at home!) Hey it works, and it saves you alot of money too!!

I know some girls who don't like to clean their make up brush because it's time consuming. Yah it is time consuming but think of all the bacteria build up in your brushes. If you think about it that's gross and your going to continue rubbing all that onto your face? yah NO ladies I highly recommend you dolls to clean your brushes PLS and THANKS *muah! LOL

so here are the "ingredients" you will need;
1 CUP of Water
1/4 CUP of Rubbing alcohol (to sanitize and disinfect the brushes)
1/2 Tablespoon of Dish washing soap
1/2 Tablespoon of regular/baby hair shampoo
1 Tablespoon of liquid hair conditioner (make sure its not the cream ones)
1 Mixing jar
1 Empty bottle

STEP 1: Take your mixing jar and add 1 CUP of Water.

STEP 2: Take a Quarter cup of Rubbing Alcohol (It could be 70% or 90%, I use 70%) and pour it into the mixing jar.

STEP 3: Take half a tablespoon of the dish washer soap & half a tablespoon of regular hair shampoo and then put it in the mixing jar.

STEP 4: Take 1 tablespoon of LIQUID leave in conditioner and add it onto the mixing jar. Make sure its the liquid kind instead of the cream or gel kind because those are thicker and it doesn't mix well with liquids.

STEP 5: Now mix everything together make sure not to stir to FAST or shake it because it will bubble up and be all foamy. But also stir thoroughly.

STEP 6: Now put everything that's in the mixing jar into the empty bottle. If you have a funnel that's great it will make this process alot easier for you.

AND WALA YOU NOW HAVE YOUR VERY OWN HOME MADE MAKE UP BRUSH CLEANSER!! YAY =) lol
NOW LADIES LET GET OUR BRUSHES CLEANED!!! LOL :P

Omg I'm so happy because I received my Coastal Scents Ultra Shimmer 88 Eyeshadow Palette and must I add I LOVE IT, I LOVEE IT, I EFFIN' LOVEEE IT!!!

The colors are so beautiful, vibrant and bright I just absolutely adore it!


I really recommend makeup lovers to grab her/him(;))self a pair of this palette weather its the ultra shimmer or the matte finish yu need this!! and its only $19.99 (shimmer) and $18.95(matte)!!

Why spend around $40 at MAC when you can get coastal scents? Not only is it cheap but it works just as good as the MAC eyeshadows if not its even BETTER!! lol

If your debating weather or not to get the Matte finished palette or the ultra shimmer palette let me tell you from now the Ultra Shimmer palette is very shimmery if you are not a big fan of shimmer I don't think you should get this.
But if anything I found a video for you guys that I think may be helpful when deciding to choose between the Matte finish and Ultra shimmer if you don't wanna buy both at the same time...

So I finally received my everyday mineral sample make-up that I ordered in the mail last week! But I was rather disappointed I was expecting "better quality make-up" lol so I guess I should say THANK GOODNESS it was just samples and not the real deal (I would've got pissed) I'm just annoyed 'cause I was excited and waited sooo long just to be disappointed yu know lol... Well the sample consist of 3 BASE, 1 CONCEALER and 1 BLUSH. For my 3 BASE I got Medium Tan, Sandy Medium and Tan. For my concealer I got Intensive Medium. And for my blush I got Sunday Brunch. However I did NOT like the concealer thats for sure, I found it to be very CHALKY looking on my skin.. BUT I DID FALL IN LOVE WITH THE BLUSH I really ADORE that color and I wouldn't mind buying that one!!

But hey yu might like it but before yu get the "real deal" purchase yur own 5 free samples [ here online ] the only thing yu pay for is shipping and handling... not bad at all and get this you can always purchase MORE samples if the colors off or yu want to try something new.. not bad I guess lol

Ever since I seen the commercial on this it really caught my eye and I had to try it out.



and OH MY GEE WHY IS IT THAT I LOVE LOVEE LOVEEE THIS SO MUCH?!
Not only do I love the sexy chic style of the mascara container ;) LOL but what I love most about
this product is that it works so well!! IT GIVES MY LASHES THE LENGTH AND CURL TO MAKE IT LOOK SOO NATURAL!!
although I ONLY recommend this mascara as a DAY look, I don't think its thick enough for a dramatic look such as going to parties and what not..

Honestly I really haven't found a GOOD mascara that thickens the lashes I'll still be on the hunt for that and when I do find one I'll be sure to post my findings!! =D

But yah to those mascara lovers out there I SO ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET THIS!!! <3

So I bought these lip plumper's awhile back but haven't really been using them. The first one is Lip Potion by Physician Formula and the second one (the gold one) is Lip inflation extreme by Sally Hansen.
To tell yu the truth I really DON'T like both of them because the LIP POTION is to thick and sticky and it just doesn't look good its like its the thickness of the the product that makes your lips look big. And as for LIP INFLATION EXTREME it burns/stings the lips ALOT and I noticed after every time I used it my lips start to chap and peel off!! =(

So I'm still in a quest looking for good Lip Plumpers for the ladies who need it =) I don't really need it but I want. I mean my lips are big (well NORMAL size) and I'm looking for fuller lips, lips like Angelina Jolie (AHHH SHES HOTT!!) so yeah I'm definitely still going to try and find and test out other lip plumpers that they have in the market (SO LADIES LOOK OUT FOR LIP PLUMPER REVIEW PART II) but if you ladies have any suggestions and know any lip plumpers that are really good feel free to comment and let other ladies in on the secret =P

Ok ladies so I get alot of people asking me "what color lip gloss do you use"?
and I just say huney cause I made it my self I didn't buy it from no department store or whatever...

So here's what you will be needing;









- Vaseline or Petroleum Jelly
- Eye Shadow (color of your choice)
- Lip Brush or Toothpick (not necessary but I use it)
- Plastic Spoon
- Small Container to put the lip gloss in



STEP 1:







With a spoon take alittle of the Petroleum Jelly into the small container.



STEP 2:















Take the eyeshadow of your choice (I choose brown because I'm looking for more of a natural nude color) and scrap alittle off with the end of the spoon (if its pressed powder) and sprinkle it onto the container and mix with the lip brush (or toothpick which ever works for you)







And WALLAH FINITO!!
So if the color you have is perfect for you then congrats you've just made your own lipgloss color but if its not then follow me on to step 3!



STEP 3: (Optional)















I found the color to dark so I got a lighter shadow (which is lose powder by the way) and sprinkled it on to the container and mix again..









AND FINITO YOUR DONE!!! (I love this color its just RIGHT!! LOL)

So today I will be doing a review on make up brushes.
I believe that all females should hold a good set of brush!
when I say a good set of brush I don't mean it has to be from M.A.C, Sephora, Bobby Brown or any of those expensive designer brands.
You can get a better set of brush (in my opinion better then those expensive designer brands) at affordable prices.
I mean all brush's are the same the only difference is the name brand (and thats what makes it popular)
I normally collect QUO brushes there pretty good, not to expensive, and most importantly it does the job.


So a few months back I bought this 5PC travel brush set so I can put my make up on the GO and I found this set really cute cause not only was it a full set but it was small enough to put in my purse (hehe look and it zips up too! ahhh what a cutie =) LOL)

yup thats it cute ain't it? AND OMG I FELL IN LOVE.

FELL IN LOVE THAT I HAD TO BUY A FULL SET! What I love most about it is that its so friggin' SOFT! and not only does it do its job SO GOOD its so affordable!! (I mean its not CHEAP CHEAP but compared to M.A.C or whatever hell yah its affordable and again THE BRUSH IS WAY WAY BETTER!! LOL SORRY I know I said that like a hundred times already hehe but I love it!!) seeing how were in a recession not everyone is able to afford those brand name brushes. But personally in my opinion I think POSH has way better brushes out in the market right now!! (and get this ladies its made of natural and synthetic fibers!! <3)

YA! I got carried away I told you I fell in love!!! hahaa and I got 8 MORE BRUSHES to go to make my set complete =) thinking about going out and getting them sometime next week once I get the time.

But if you just want to have a feel of how the brushes work and what not I suggest you start off with the 5PC travel kit which includes a powder brush, purse foundation, conceal & touch up duo brush, brow & eyeliner duo brush, and a smokey & angle eye shadow duo brush (for like 30 BUCKS) and honestly for all that its a good deal 'cause all together normally would be like what $100-$150? the only difference is the size but hey all that for a start not bad right? lol oh yah and they also have a 4PC travel kit (I personally don't own the 4PC KIT) which includes a powder brush, angle eye shadow brush, conceal brush, and an angle eyeliner brush (for like 20 BUCKS!) but for 10 dollars more I say yur better off with the 5PC kit trust me its so much better lol ;)

Ok so I have people wondering what I do use for my face because I have somewhat of a soft clean glowly look.
and what I do use and love to death is;
Nivea Visage face care
- Gentle Cleansing Cream Wash
- Gentle Toner
- Rich Moisturizing Day Cream (not all over face, but on dry spots such as nose)
- Simply Glowing (for all over my face)
- Regenerating Night Cream (what I use on my face after washing and toning)


what I also use that I absolutely love as well is;
the Neutrogena WAVE Facial Cleanser.







yesyes I love this alot! because I really felt better about my skin and it made my skin feel cleaner and softer from the very first time I used it!


so either way those are the 2 I highly recomend but I mean it's what really works best for me! :)
