ARE YUR EARS REALLY CLEAN?!

I was in my Human Anatomy and Physiology class and my Professor shard some interesting information with us.

we all know that sticking things in our ears are bad but we all do it anyways (things such as headphones and cotton swobs, ect.) YES!! Sticking a q-tip in yur ear is bad but we still do it because we THINK thats the only method/way of cleaning our ears!

hmm if using q-tips are bad then how are we supposed to clean our ears??
simple OILS!! (olive oil, mineral oil and my favorite BABY OIL)

I use baby oil to remove ear wax, but we don't want to completely remove the waxs in our ears because it helps prevent us from having an ear infection and what not..

so this is how I clean my ears with baby oil;

- first yu'll wanna put the baby oil in an eye drop container (make sure its clean before doing this) I do this because it makes it way easier to put the oil in the ear canal.

- then I put a cloth on my shoulder (this prevents from having any messy spillage LOL, would yu have the wax fall to yur hands? or better yet yur clothes? haha)

- then I put a few drop of oil in my ear and tilt my head towards my shoulders

- I also pull the top of my ears back, this make it faster and easier for the wax to drip down..

- then I rinse my ear out... and walla yu have clean ears the safer way!!

try this out yurself!! =)

RACIAL: STEREOTYPES & PROFILING

This episode on Tyra is probably old (lol sorry, I hardly watch T.V anymore) but I just came across it today on WorldStarHipHop.com and I was appalled to see how many close-minded, ignorant people that we STILL have in the world today and the fact that some of that ignorance is rubbing of on the younger generation is really unexceptionable. We should be ending the racism not keeping it alive.

It really hurt me to see the children judge people by there skin color. I'm tired of people seeing white people as a higher power because that's not true! You can be white, black, asian, hispanic, arabic or christian, muslim, rastafarian, buddist.. WHERE ALL THE SAME NO MATTER WHERE YU COME FROM, WHAT RELIGION YU PRAISE, WHAT EVER COLOR YUR SKIN TONE IS YU CAN BE PURPLE FOR ALL I CARE BUT NO MATTER WHAT WE ALL ARE THE SAME WE ALL SHOULD BE TREATED WITH EQUALITY... WE ALL HAVE FEELINGS, WE ALL HAVE BONES, A BRAIN, AND INSIDE WE ALL HAVE THE SAME RED BLOOD FLOWING IN US, SO FUCK YU AND YUR CULTURAL JUDGMENTS!! I don't think its right OR fair for a human being to be treated differently because of where they come from... I don't know about me but thats just what I think..

Their was a scenario there showing a black woman (who is well dressed) with 3 kids and a white woman (who was not that well dressed) with 3 children as well and the feedback was that the white woman was properly token care of while the black woman possibly had 3 baby daddys and on welfare.. OK WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?! and then they went on saying how black men are lazy, drug dealers, and no good and black woman are hood rats, dating drug dealers and that hurts to see black people portrayed like that because theirs alot of educated black people out there!!

Yes I am mixed African & Asian and I'm damn proud of both heritage but everytime I meet someone 9 out of 10 times people ask me the same question "Whats yur background", "Are yur parents still together?" OR "Who do you live with yur dad or yur mom?"
HONESTLY LIKE SHUT THE FUCK UP I JUST MET YU AND YUR GOING INTO MY PERSONAL BUSINESS LIKE THAT WILL EFFECT OUR FRIENDSHIP OR WHATEVER FRIENDSHIP WHERE BUILDING!! I DON'T SEE WHY MY PARENTS MARRIAGE SHOULD CONCERN YU, I DON'T BELIEVE THAT MY RACE AND MY FAMILY HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY RELATIONSHIP WITH YU!!
& just for the record my parents have been happily married for over 20 years now with 3 beautiful children (ME & MY BROTHERS)!!
And their reaction is funny because most of the time their in shock, or they say oh thats good then we have this awkward silence for like 10 seconds haha

GRRR racial topics get me so heated but I just had to comment about this episode because its real, its out their, its what me, yu and a million others have to go through every day of our lives!!

HARD KNOCK LIFE... but it doesn't have to be if we all can just let change come...

STOP THE FUCKING IGNORANCE PLS!!

anyways AHHH I'm so sorry about my language =( lol but what about yu guys? what are yur thoughts on racial profiling and stereotyping.. Have yu guys ever experienced any for yurself?

The single girls bible...

So my last relationship was last summer and it ended really bad so ever since then I choose to be single mainly because I lost trust in guys every time I talked to new guys I tend to push them away because at this point I feel that all guys are the same, which I know is not true but how would I know whos real and whos not? (that is still left unanswered unless yu ladies have tips on finding the right one LOL)

But I've been single for a while now and being single taught me how to do things for myself, doing things that a guy would be more interested in such as; cars, fixing things and those kinda of boyish things. The other day I ensemble this wooden shoe rack from Ikea (which I had to screw all in) it was pretty easy haha I just had to figure out the pieces and I also ensemble this chair (not sure what there called) but that thing was heavy as hell but 20mins later I got it done! LOL I'm so proud of myself hahahaa

On another note I got these "between-boyfriends" to do list from COSMO

1) make out with a random guy who's completely not your type just because he's mad hot!
no harm done right yur single hes single? have fun while yur youth last!! its not like yur sleeping with the guy

2) take a trip alone or go with a friend but don't spend to much time together. Explore exotic terrain on your own it gives you real in the moment high

3) pack in those plans guys often tend to roll their eyes about: art galleries, plays, poetry readings.

4) use the money that would've gone toward a BFs birthday present for a deep tissue massage

5) get at least 3 guys to ask for you number in the same day

6) throw a casual weekly cocktail party, each time inviting a different mix of friends, coworkers and new acquaintances

It doesn't hurt to try new things, the more experience the better!!

But even though I'm not really looking for a boyfriend right now it doesn't hurt to be friends with a boy or in this case i mean man..
but hey boyfriend applications can still be reviewed until I'm ready to hire ;) hahahaa

Living in the forest..

Ok so I know this is totally random but whos ever wanted a tree house as a child? lol I know I did me and my brother would always beg my dad to make a tree house and he always said "yah i will... when i have time" and so sad that time never came LOL so I was checking my emails then i just so happen to run into this article..

Unique Spaces: Free Spirit Spheres By Lisa Felepchuk

Did you love tree forts as a kid? If so, the Free Spirit Spheres may be for you.

Hanging high above the forest floor in Qualicum Beach BC, are large spherical structures that can be lived in. The creator, Tom Chudleigh, originally started off building boats when the idea came to him. “At first I thought I would build a spherical houseboat. I had already been building boats for 10 years at this point… Conventional architecture is all about separation… But in a sphere, the walls, floor, and ceiling all become one,” says Chudleigh.

The wooden spheres use the surrounding forest as their foundation, and are suspended by three, nearly vertical, ropes. The spheres hang in the center of the three trees, and can be slung up to one hundred feet off the ground. Built like a large nut, the spherical shape is well adapted to forest life, since it distributes any impact throughout the skin and resists puncture or cracking. The suspension ropes, which stretch, also absorb some of the force.

Inside, each sphere has been wired with power, sound and telephone. There is room for a bed, sitting area, cupboards and counter space. The spheres can be lived in year around, since they have been insulated. All of the brass fittings were cast by hand using Chudleigh’s original designs.

haha crazy ain't it? check out the photos i think its pretty cute!!

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
enough money within her control to move out
and rent a place of her own, even if she never wants to or needs to...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
something perfect to wear if her employer,
or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a youth she's content to leave behind....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to
retelling it in her old age....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
one friend who
always makes her laugh.. and one who lets her cry...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
eight matching plates and wine glasses with stems;
and a recipe for a meal, that will make her guests feel honored...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
a feeling of control over her destiny..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
how to fall in love without losing herself..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
how to quit a job,
break up with a lover, and confront a friend
without; ruining the friendship...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
when to try harder... and WHEN TO WALK AWAY...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
that she can't change the length of her calves,
the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
that her childhood may not have been perfect...but it's over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW....
how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW..
whom she can trust,
whom she can't,
and why she shouldn't take it personally...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
where to go...
be it to her best friend's kitchen table... or a
charming Inn in the woods....
when her soul needs soothing...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW..
What she can and can't accomplish in a day...
a month...and a year...
